GSD Construction is proud to be involved in the development of the Fifth Ward Technology Center (FWTC), a project designed to foster entrepreneurship, innovation, and economic growth within Houston's historic Fifth Ward community.
This project includes the rehabilitation of a former administration building and the construction of supporting site infrastructure, including a new surface parking lot and stormwater detention facilities. Upon completion, the renovated 16,000-square-foot facility will serve as a modern technology and co-working center, offering affordable workspace solutions for small businesses, startups, and entrepreneurs.
The facility will feature private offices, flexible desk options, conference rooms, training spaces, collaborative work areas, and business support amenities. Designed to encourage productivity, networking, and professional growth, the Fifth Ward Technology Center will provide an accessible environment where emerging businesses can thrive.
